T-Shirt Crochet Upcycled

Description

Whether as guacamole, on toast or salad, we are crazy about avocados. The green fruit is so trendy that we want to wear it on our T-shirt.

I will show you how to crochet this avocado in no time. We upcycle an old T-shirt – and you?

Material

Collect your materials together.

It is best if you upcycello an old T-shirt with the crocheted avocado.

Crochet avocado

1st round: You start with the brown yarn. Make 6 sturdy stitches in a string and then tighten.

2nd round: Crochet into each stitch of the preliminary round 2 strong stitches (12 stitches).

3rd round: Crochet in every 2nd stitch of the preliminary round 2 strong stitches, in all other stitches crochet a tight stitch (18 stitches).

4th round: crochet in every 3rd stitch of the preliminary round 2 strong stitches, in all other stitches crochet a tight stitch (24 stitches).

Then you switch to your light green yarn.

5th round: crochet in every 4th stitch of the preliminary round 2 strong stitches, in all other stitches crochet a tight stitch (30 stitches).

6th round: crochet in every 5th stitch of the preliminary round 2 strong stitches, in all other stitches crochet a tight stitch (36 stitches).

1st row: Now crochet a single crochet in the next 13 stitches.

2nd row: Turn the work and continue crocheting. Take the first and last two stitches together (11 stitches).

3rd row: Turn the work and continue to crochet tight stitches. Take the first and last two stitches together (9 stitches).

4th row: Turn the work and continue to crochet tight stitches. To do this, remove the first and last two stitches together (7 stitches).

5th row: Turn the work and continue to crochet solid stitches. To do this, remove the first and last two stitches together (5 stitches).

6th row: Turn the work and continue to crochet solid stitches. To do this, remove the first and last two stitches together (3 stitches).

Then you switch to the dark green yarn.

In dark green, the avocado is now umhäklet.

Start by doubling the first stitch. Then crochet a sturdy stitch sideways into each course (6 in total). The next stitch will be doubled again. Then crochet 6 sts, double a st, crochet 12 sts, double a st, crochet 6 sts, double stitch and crochet 6 sts in the side of the mats. At the top of the avocado, double the last two stitches.

Complete

Sew all threads well on the back.

Stick on

Now put some textile glue on the back of your avocado …

… and then stick it on your T-shirt.
