Knitted Egg Warmer Pattern

What you need: (yarn studios DROPS BABY MERINO)

  • 50 gr. No. 03, light yellow
  • 50 gr. No. 04, yellow
  • 50 gr. No. 36, orange
  • 50 gr. No. 26, light old rose
  • 50 gr. No. 27, old rose
  • 50 gr. No. 23, light beige
  • a rest no. 19, gray
  • DROPS NEEDLE GAME # 2,5 – Stitch: 26 sts x 34 rounds
  • fiberfill

Notes on the instructions:

STRIPES: Alternating 3 rounds light old rose / old rose or light yellow / yellow.

TIP TO RECORD: 1 Envelope make this envelope folded on the next row. knit.

And this is how it’s done:

RABBIT:
The work is knitted around. Cast on 48 to 40 sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with dusky pink and work 1 round. knit. Then 2 cm cuffs 2 re. / 2 li. knit. Knit the strips – see above – until smooth. After 7 cm with 8 sts place 6 marks. Continue with the strips and AT THE SAME TIME dec 1 st at the left side of the markers. (- 6 sts per round). Repeat every round until there are 12 sts left. Change to light beige and knit the head.

HEAD: ROUND
1: right. = 12
sts. 2nd ROUND: * 1 envelope, 2 rs. *, repeat from * – * = 18 M. SEE TIP TO RECORD!
3rd ROUND: right = 18
sts. 4. ROUND: * 1 envelope, 1 r. *, repeat from * – * = 36 M.
5th to 21st round: right.
ROUND 22: * 1 round, 2 sts. together * = 24 M.
23. ROUND: right. = 24
sts. 24. ROUND: knit 2 sts each round = 12
sts. 25. ROUND: right. = 12
sts. 26. ROUND: knit 2 sts in a row = 6 sts. Cut
the thread and pull through the remaining sts .

EARS:
The ears are knit back and forth. Cast on 9 to 9 with light beige on needle number 2.5.
1st to 14th: re.
15th row: 1 row, 2 rows together, 3 re., 2 re. together, 1 re. = 7
sts. 16. R .: r.
17th row: 1 row, 2 rows together, 1 re., 2 re. together, 1 re. = 5 m.
18th row: right.
19th row: 1 row, 1 st. Right. take off, 2 re. pull together, the off-hook over the knitted, 1 re. = 3 M.
20th R .: right.
21st R .: 1 st. take off, 2 re. Pull the off-hook over the knitted = 1 sts. Cut the thread and pull through the last st.

SCARF:
The scarf is knit back and forth.
Cast on 4 sts for double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with light old rose and knit as follows: * 1 line, put thread in front of work, lift 1 left, put thread behind work *. Repeat from * – * in all Rs. After about 20 cm abk.

SEWING: Fill
the head with cotton wool and tighten the work between body and head. The eyes gray and the nose with bright pink embroider. Fold and sew the ears.

CHICKEN:
The work is knitted around. Cast on 48 needle size with yellow on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm and cast on 1 round. knit. Then 2 cm cuffs 2 re. / 2 li. knit. Knit the strips – see above – until smooth. After 7 cm with 8 sts place 6 marks. Continue with the strips and AT THE SAME TIME dec 1 st at the left side of the markers. (- 6 sts per round). Repeat every round until there are 12 sts left. Change to yellow and knit the head.

3rd ROUND: right = 18
sts. 4. ROUND: * 1 envelope, 1 r. *, repeat from * – * = 36 M.
5th to 7th round: right.
ROUND 8: * 1 cover, 6 re. *, repeat from * – * = 42
sts. 9. to 14. ROUND: right.
ROUND 15: * 5 rounds, 2 sts. together *, repeat from * – * = 36
sts. 16. till 18. ROUND: right.
ROUND 17: * 1 round, 2 sts. together * = 24 m.
18. ROUND: right. = 24
sts. ROUND 19: Work 2
sts in a row = 12 sts. ROUND 20: round. = 12
sts. 21. ROUND: knit 2 sts in a row = 6 sts. Cut
the thread and pull it through the last st .

SCARF: Same
as the rabbit but with orange.

SEWING: Fill
the head with cotton wool and tighten the work between body and head with a thread. Embroider the eyes with gray.

TAIL COMBAT: Cast on 27-24 sts
on needle size 2.5 mm with orange and cast on 1 row . knit. Knit 3 sts together on next row = 9 sts. Knit 3 sts together on next row = 3 sts. Cut the thread and pull through the remaining sts. Sew on top of the head.

SCHNABEL: Cast on 9/5
on needle size 2.5 mm with orange and cast on 1 row . knit and knit 3 sts consecutively = 3 sts. knit. Cut the thread and pull through the remaining sts. Sew on the front of the head.
